About

My name is Nia Brooks and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Mississippi. I am from Nashville, TN but have lived in Northern Mississippi for five years. I enjoy taking notice of the rural landscapes often ignored due to our busy lives. I prioritize highlighting nature as it shows up whether on a farm, in a forrest, or inside a building. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did creating them.

How we got our name?

Firstly, trouble encompasses my methods. Whether its driving alone with no cell service or off roading in my broken Camry, adventure and chaos is always present. I was also given the nickname trouble due to the permanent grin on my face comforting many while being suspicious to some, a face of plotting.

I am currently looking for gallery opportunities, art and flea markets, and any other photography avenues that are fitting for my work!
